Purple Pansies

Hello!  Welcome to the Purple Pansies Colored Pencil Tutorial series!

I have wanted to draw this for years, so I am super excited to finally have the time/opportunity.

This is an Intermediate/Advanced Drawing.

In this series, I demonstrate 3 different real-time sections and the rest is in a time-lapse format.

I used several different brands of pencils here. For those of you (most of you) who don’t have all of the pencils I am using, just pick the colors you have that are closest to the reference. You really don’t need all of these colors to create a beautiful drawing.

This was drawn on Rising Museum Mount Board using Prismacolor, Faber-Castell Polychromos, Caran d’Ache Luminance, Derwent Lightfast and Holbein Colored Pencils.  The pencil was blended with Utrecht NOOD, Odorless Paint Thinner.

This tutorial series includes a link to my reference image, line drawing/outline, a supplies list, a pencil list and 6 video-based lessons.
