What You’ll Learn
- Color Choice- There’s a bonus video dedicated entirely to building the color palette for this drawing. If you’ve been unsure about how to choose and combine colors, I am confident this video will help.
- Base Layers- We’ll talk in detail about how to begin your drawing, which colors to lay down first, which order to work in, etc.
- Creating Texture- I used a combination of techniques to create a splotchy texture in the petals. You will learn how to use the electric eraser to create the look of natural texture.
- Indenting- I used an indenting technique in several places on this drawing, but it was especially helpful in the center to create a separation between all of those tiny petals.
