Orange Branch

Hello!  Welcome to the Orange Branch Tutorial series!

It is no secret that Fruit on a Branch is my favorite thing to draw.  I loved working with these bright Oranges and Greens.

This was drawn on Rising Museum Mount Board using Prismacolor, Faber Castell Polychromos, and Caran d’Ache Luminance, Derwent Lightfast, and Holbein colored pencils. The pencil was blended with Utrecht NOOD, No Odor Paint Thinner.

I have listed this as an Advanced drawing tutorial.  I show you how to draw a single leaf and a single orange in real-time, and you must have the skills to translate what you learn from those lessons to the rest of the piece.  The key to making this one look realistic is creating the texture on the oranges, and I show you how to do that in Module 3.

This tutorial series includes a link to my reference image, a line drawing/outline, a supplies list, a pencil list, and 3 video-based lessons.

Have fun!
