Magnolia Branch

Hello!  Welcome to the Magnolia Branch Tutorial series!

This series was originally recorded in January of 2022 and the video footage was updated in 2023.

This is a really great project to work on if you want to learn how to draw white on white.  It isn’t as tricky as I used to think.  It is simply a matter of filling in the shadows.  I will show you how I do it in this series.

This was drawn on Rising Museum Mount Board using Prismacolor, Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran d’Ache Luminance, Derwent Lightfast and Holbein Colored Pencils.  The pencil was blended with Utrecht NOOD, No Odor Paint  Thinner.

This tutorial series includes a link to my reference image, line drawing/outline, a supplies list, a pencil list and 7 video-based lessons.

You will need to to be a member over on Patreon in order to access the modules but you can scroll down to watch a FREE 15-minute preview of this drawing.
