Derwent Apple
Hello! Welcome to the Derwent Apple series!
This series is full of highs and lows! First of all, the leaves on this apple are probably the best I have ever drawn. I literally go back and watch this one myself from time to time to remember how I drew these leaves. Secondly, I made so many changes to this drawing along the way. And, you might not want to follow along in the traditional sense.
This was drawn on Rising Museum Mount Board using Derwent Lightfast and Derwent Inktense Pencils. The pencil was blended with Gamsol Odorless Mineral Spirits.
This tutorial series includes a reference image, line drawing/outline, a supplies list, a pencil list, and 5 video-based lessons.
