Hello!  Welcome to the Beginner Red Rose Colored Pencil Tutorial series!

I created this series with beginners in mind.  There are 4 different real-time sections and I explain in detail what I am doing.

This was drawn on Derwent Lightfast Paper.  This was my first time using this paper and I found it to perform very similarly to a Hot Pressed Watercolor Paper such as Arches.

I used Prismacolor and Faber Castell Polychromos Colored Pencils.  The pencil was blended with Utrecht NOOD, Odorless Paint Thinner.

This tutorial series includes a reference image, line drawing/outline, a supplies list, a pencil list and 4 video-based lessons.
