About me
I am a colored pencil artist working from my home studio in Fishers, Indiana.
Around 7 years ago, I followed my curiosity and a nagging instinct and learned to draw. Taking the first steps of buying some colored pencils and completing an on-line drawing tutorial opened up the door to so many exciting opportunities in my life.
I love to draw seasonal Botanicals! I am especially drawn to big, beautiful flowers and colorful fruits still on the branch.
Drawing seasonally reminds me of so many special times growing up in southern Indiana where we have distinct seasons of Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
I think this is why people resonate with my artwork. It reminds them of the beauty of simple things and, hopefully, brings back their own special memories.
Through drawing I have discovered a hidden talent that I believe everybody has access to if they give it a chance!

I love to teach!
In 2019, I started developing my own tutorials to share with others the things that helped me most when I was learning. When I first started out, I was desperate to find out what tools and techniques other artists were using! If you are a beginner, I was exactly where you are now just a few short years ago. I want to be as transparent as possible about my own process. Whatever it takes to help another artist improve their own work more quickly.
If you are curious about drawing and want to take the first step toward learning to draw, I can’t encourage you enough to buy some pencils and complete a tutorial like I did. Embarking on a new hobby is so exciting and opens up many new possibilities!
