What You’ll Learn
- Drawing Leaves (Indenting, Embossing, Eraser Work, Layering, and Blending)- You will get lots of practice drawing leaves for this one! Each of the leaves in this drawing is unique, which kept me engaged. While the process stays the same, the leaves are differentiated by shape, color, and value.
- I emphasize the importance of creating shape using contour lines, which I first outline in red and then indent with white.
- The placement of shadows and highlights also helps to define the shape, and I spend a lot of time refining these in the videos.
