Blue Grapes
Hello! Welcome to the Blue Grape Colored Pencil Tutorial series!
This is a fun drawing for a beginner to colored pencils as it is difficult to ‘mess up’. If one of the grapes is slightly off, it won’t make much of a difference to the final piece. It is also really good practice to draw the same thing over and over. By the time you get to that last grape, you will be a pro at choosing colors, blending, using the electric eraser and adding details.
This was drawn on Rising Museum Mount Board using Prismacolor and Faber-Castell Polychromos. The pencil was blended with Utrecht NOOD, Odorless Paint Thinner.
This tutorial series includes a link to my reference image, line drawing/outline, a supplies list, a pencil list, and 6 video-based lessons.
Have fun!
