Derwent Apple

Hello!  Welcome to the Derwent Apple series!

This is series is full of highs and lows!  First of all, the leaves on this apple are probably the best I have ever drawn.  I literally go back and watch this one myself from time to time to remember how I drew these leaves.  Secondly, I made so many changes to this drawing along the way.  And, you might not want to follow along in the traditional sense. I would highly recommend reading this post before you start this tutorial:

This was drawn on Rising Museum Mount Board using Derwent Lightfast and Derwent Inktense Pencils. The pencil was blended with Gamsol Odorless Mineral Spirits.
